My Story…
My name is Lisa Hopwood and I was born and raised in the Inner City of Sydney. In 2015, in search of a gentler way of life, I relocated to the NSW Northern Rivers and now live, and work, on the land of the Bundjalung Nation.
As a mum of three grown children, and recently a new grandmother, family is hugely important to me.
With a career that has seen me working in Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol treatment extensively, I have developed a deep passion for working with people as they uncover the patterns that have been shadowing their lives – and supporting them to find a way out.
With qualifications in Mental Health, Social Welfare, Indigenous Trauma and Recovery Practice, Clinical Hypnotherapy, and Psychotherapy - my passion is for walking with people on a journey of discovery, finding a way out of the darkness and into the light. For me, it really is, all about the people: and I am honoured to share the journey alongside my clients.
I have a love of the ocean, as it helps me to connect with the idea of being a part of something much greater than me. I love music and can be found singing in my car with the sound turned way up.
Most importantly, I love people and spending time with friends – for me it’s all about relationships and connection with others
